]]>The Oblivion section of the wiki is broken down by Character, Gameplay, Quest, World and Technical Support. Because Oblivion is such a large RPG, there is a ton of different things to do and really an endless amount of possibilities. So it is incredible to find a site that has as many details as this does. The Quest section alone covers every quest in the game and breaks them into multiple categories - from quests which should be done early on to quests that make you evil or those that offer you certain armor sets.
This site is hands down the best best Oblivion resource I have seen yet. If you ever play the game, I recommend that you stop by.

]]>Aion Maps is a work in progress, detailing parts of Atreia. Although there isn't that much available on this site yet, what is there can prove to be quite helpful. Vitality and aether locations for various regions are featured along with rift locations. Mob locations, including some bosses, are featured on a select number of maps.
Aion Maps can be very useful to those starting out in this great game, and I'm hopeful that the site's caretaker will continue to update it going forward.

The site does a good job of maintaining quality, and the user feedback keeps that in check. Such is the case in the gaming realm as well, where independent developers are responsible for hundreds of unique, fun-to-play titles. These indie games do not garner nearly as much press as their big company counterparts, and that is to be expected.
Indie Game Magazine offers news and reviews on independent games from multiple genres, giving you a heads-up on the latest games created in basements and back offices all over the world. The site itself has a nice, easy interface but appears to be somewhat new. The reviews are a bit shorter than some other sites, but the nice part is most games are reviewed by a group of reviewers - each providing their own perspective.
The forums are not very active, but I assume that may pick up as the site starts to gain a little steam. My favorite part of Indie Game Magazine's website has to be the Demo Download section, which points you towards dozens of free demos!
]]>I won't write a long protracted review, but the folks at www.eve-isk.com were very quick to respond, supported online chat for the purchase, and delivered. Normally it can be a pretty sketchy experience, but they were straight forward and I was pleased with the outcome.
]]>The same methodology is applied to their forums and wiki. As a lot of us play multiple MMOs, keeping up with them by hopping from forum to forum can be cumbersome. Registered members can add to the millions of posts in the forums and premium members will have access to an ad-free experience along with improved access to game-specific tools and information.
]]>The monthly fees for these titles are usually worth it, considering the total amount of hourly entertainment they tend to provide. What you may not be aware of, however, are the amount of quality games in this genre and others that can be played completely free.
MMO Hut is a great hub to locate these freebies as well as read reviews and peruse screen shots. The site has a clean interface and is easy to navigate. In addition to MMOs, games from many other categories including Shooters and Sports are featured. MMO Hut also offers public forums, which appear be fairly new and do not have a great deal of activity yet.

I played DAoC non-stop during the game's heyday and some days I really miss it. One thing that hasn't changed is the fervor in which the Camelot Herald staff update and maintain their site. It's good to see that this is still the case, and this is a great resource for folks wandering around Albion, Midgard, or Hibernia. If you aren't familiar with DAoC, you may want to peruse Camelot Herald anyway. You may find that this classic meets your current desires and you just might wind up rolling a toon.
]]>UO was, for lack of a better word, the s@#t! Over the years the game has changed hands several times and has undergone some questionable makeovers (ninjas?!!? really?). However, the fact remains that UO is still alive and still has a very dedicated fanbase to boot. They are even offering a new expansion pack, Stygian Abyss, which is currently in beta. From what I've seen it actually looks pretty cool, which means I'll probably be reactivating one of my accounts at some point in the near future.

You just click the class and all of the related material is right there. If the site owner would ever come back I think he would have a good site on his hands.

Given the nature of their community relations department, read: non-existent, this latest information is full of details that the players have been clamoring for. This is especially true for the EU-1 folks who have been waiting for the real status of account transfers. I guess, for Darkfall anyway, fansites are the way this is going to be done.
]]>At this point in the game's life, the official forums are just about the only place you can find quality information. Thankfully, there are a couple of sticky threads that describe the skill, stat, spell, crafting and a few other systems that can get you moderately educated as you embark on your journey. Personally I feel that many in the community (even the strategy usual suspects) are too unsure about the game's future to invest the time and research into creating quality resources.
I challenge the TruthGaming.com faithful to help me find a better Darkfall Online resource site than www.darkfallonline.com. Feel free to leave any ideas in the comments.
]]>As far as the tool goes, this tracking system is one of the best I've seen. It goes past your standard kill:death ratio and into some pretty advanced statistics like player location, stats on specific servers, times, etc. The website is pretty simple and offers what you need, as well as some extras like global stats (they combine all server stats into one pool and rank players).
Overall, I would recommend the tracking system to anyone setting up a TF2 server, and the website to anyone who has ever played on a hlstatsx.com server.
As far as clan sites go dp-nation.com is top notch, with a custom layout and easy access to the necessary parts of the site. However, it's not for the under 1280x1024 crowd which is fine since no respectable FPS player would have that resolution.
The stats portion of the site is outstanding. You can sort though any of the server's details and find in-depth information on each player.
]]>Featuring the latest game news, individual member pages designed in a MySpace-esque fashion, and a gallery with several thousand game images, MyFFXI is an active social outlet for those who still play this popular MMO. If you're looking for quest guidance or mob information, then this really isn't the site for you. However, if you want to interact with other FFXI players then I'd definitely check it out.

]]>The main page offers a blog that is updated daily. The content ranges from TF2 news to site news and server information. The forum is divided into many sections that each get daily responses, as does the quick chat box on every page. As for the servers, there is a detailed stats section which allows you to sort by player, clan, server, etc. It is one of the best server stats sections that I've ever seen.
Overall, I think www.5e-community.com is a quality gaming community for TF2. I've enjoyed reading their forum and playing on one of their servers and I will continue to do so.

The great thing about this site is the power is in the community; some really fantastic mods (with regular updates) will keep you coming back over and over again. You can tell a good blog by looking at two things. One is the archive. The other are the categories. tf2blog.com's archive shows the site starting in October 2007, way before the game was released. Each monthly archive is filled with pages of content and after going back and reading a lot of them I was really impressed with the different types of stories being posted. That leads to the categories, of which, there are over fifty of them, ranging from 'achievements' to 'mother'. This blog has so many categories that it's hard to imagine not finding the information you might be looking for about TF2. Overall, the blog is terrific and I'm adding it to my daily cycle of sites.

]]>When looking at a server page I look for detailed stats and TF2newbs.com certainly has that. They have over ten servers on which to play, but you can easily drill down into the individual server stats. You can even find the geographic location of each server in relation to where you live. You can then dig even deeper and check out individual player stats and compare them to the other newbs that play on each server.
TF2newbs.com is a great site if you are new to TF2 and are looking to become an advanced player quickly. Eventhing on the site is laid out in a simple format and readily available to access. Probably my favorite part of the site is how all the servers have direct links to Steam so that you don't have to enter in the IP through the game itself. I would recommend this site to anyone new or old to the game.
]]>Overall, www.fragwagon.com is a decent blog that could be used to find useful information about TF2. It is nice to see a gaming blog that doesn't just post about actual gameplay or strategy. Sometimes it is fun to see alternative gaming posts, like fan art and costumes. This site has all that, plus some very decent tips.
]]>DIII.net helps satisfy this thirst for knowledge with the latest news as well as pointers to the new content found on DiabloWiki. The forums are impressively vibrant and I even found some awesome Diablo III wallpaper for my iPhone there.
The interstitial ads can get annoying, as they seem to pop up a lot between sections of the site. However, they do offer a paid subscription service which not only eliminates ads but also gives you advanced forum privileges as well as automatic entry into contests for beta keys, Blizzcon tickets, and other neat stuff.

Overall TF2maps.net is a very useful site if you are in the market for a custom map or want to learn how to create your own. Just reading a bunch of the posts makes me want to try one for myself.

With almost a million posts to date and over 20,000 registered members, you can be confident that if what you're looking for isn't there already it will be eventually. New posts are usually responded to within hours and sometimes within minutes, and the mods (dubbed Forum Leaders) do a nice job of preventing chaos. If you play EQ2 or if you're considering rolling a toon for the first time, EQ2Flames should be among your top bookmarks.
]]>Aside from the active forums I really like two features on this site. First, all of their content can be seen in some quick method such as the "Last Forum Threads" or the "Shoutbox". This makes it easy to quickly pick up on new information from your last visit. Secondly, I think the user stats are very comprehisive. When you register you can tie your steam account to your forum account. Then when you play on one of their servers it will record detailed statistics. You can see how you rank against other players over a long period of time!
The guides on the site are broken up into three categories: Class, Maps and Misc. Each category is further broken down to more specific guides. For instance, with class guides, there is general game play, random tips and class versus class strategies. The Maps section offers views of popular maps along with strategies on how to play and win them.
Overall the site is a decent source for TF2 information. The blog is updated often and the forum gets a good amount of visitors. If you're a TF2 player, it's worth a look.

It can really help you plan your route beyond the in-game tools, and it’s available as a free download (.pdf) on his website. He also writes a really nice Eve blog, with regular updates.
Clearly, keeping this map updated and top notch requires a great deal of work. Eve players’ “for the community, by the community” attitude never ceases to amaze me.
When you find a spray you like you can check out stats for it, including how many times it was downloaded, when it was added, it's user rating and any comments that have been added. Or you can simply download the spray, drop it in your TF2 folder and then you're on your way. (You can find out how to do this in their FAQ section)
Overally I would say that the site is great if you're looking for a TF2 spray and don't have the desire (or ability) to make one yourself. The website has a nice layout, although the advertisements can be overbearing. But I guess that doesn't matter when you're just browsing for a quick download.

There really isn't much else I can say about this site, other than you need to experience it for yourself. It's one of the most refreshing gaming sites I have visited in a long time, and will be adding it to my bookmarks for sure.

They state that both new and experienced coders can benefit from using Ace which, in a sense, is true. However, you should at least brush up on the basics of Lua before attempting to dive in.
The real beauty of Ace lies in its extremely active developer community. The wealth of knowledge available in the existing posts and knowledge base as well as the thousands of members who seem willing to help out with newb questions is impressive.
Folks not interested in creating their own add-ons can still benefit from visiting the site as well, with information on well over 1,000 active add-ons created with Ace readily available.
]]>As a TF2 gamer, there a few things I look for when browsing a strategy site. I want to see information on classes and maps readily available. On TF2wiki.net these are the first things you see when you hit the main page. Clicking one of these articles brings you a lot of detailed information, including all the secrets and even videos of gameplay. Also available is the "Featured Article" section which leads you to portions of the site that you might not have otherwise seen. And the "Did you know?" section offers random tidbits about the game that even a veteran like me didn't know. The only drawback of the main page is the set width. Only at 1600+ resolution will the entire page be able to fit on your screen.
You can usually tell a good wiki by the use of the discussion tab on articles and the TF2wiki.net community really seems to know what they are talking about. Overall, the site is an asset to anyone that plays TF2 seriously as it will certainly improve your game.
