The thing that has always impressed me about Final Fantasy XI is the continued strength of its player community, even seven years after the game's initial release. With a strong player base usually comes a bevy of fan sites, many of which leave a lot to be desired. However, a select few tend to rise to the top and hang around for an impressive run. MyFFXI is one of the good ones, providing a simple yet sophisticated place for the Vana'diel faithful to gather.
Featuring the latest game news, individual member pages designed in a MySpace-esque fashion, and a gallery with several thousand game images, MyFFXI is an active social outlet for those who still play this popular MMO. If you're looking for quest guidance or mob information, then this really isn't the site for you. However, if you want to interact with other FFXI players then I'd definitely check it out.
