I am going to keep my theme going of reviewing sites that host free online time wasters. Tower Defense games have been around since 2007 and the concept is basically simple as you try to stop enemies from crossing the map by building towers to shoot at them as they pass. www.towerdefence.net is a site dedicated to hosting many of these online strategy brain busters.
The 150+ games they have can be sorted by plays, ratings and date. If you are at all a fan of the genre, you should check some of these out. Many take a creative twist to your traditional TD setup. The only downside is the strange interactive ads... i literally had to pick the cleaner of two toilets after a Clorox ad before playing, but hey - free web-games don't pay the bills!
